TwylaTharp was born in Portland, Indiana, on July 1, 1941, and was named after TwilaThornburg, the “Princess” of the eighty-ninth Annual Muncie Fair inIndiana.She is inimitable; she has worked withdancers from all over the world in different famous opera houses.
