There be made as the world cannot afford to

There have been recessions in the past.Over the century this
world has seen some of the recessions which have shaken the world, affected big
countries and massively disturbing the economy of a country. One of the most
disturbing recession was The Big Bang. The Big Bang was the result of the 1983
agreement between Thatcher government and the LSE (London Stock Exchange),
which included the practices of abolishing minimum fixed commission on trades, the
separation between traders and those who advised investors and allowing
international firms to own UK brokers. Elimination of the fixed commission
allowed for more competition, as there would not be any of the minimum fees to
be paid for the trade of each stock. The separation of the dealers and the
investors resulted in a higher figure of takeovers and mergers, as there was no
more middle party advising investors in where to stake their money and where
not to. The allowance of foreign owners was the way for the international banks
into the London’s market. It is believed that the Big Bang is still affecting
the world. Thus, by taking this as an example and learning from the mistakes,
improvements have to be made as the world cannot afford to have another recession. The
main question is that “Can we completely avoid a global recession?” the answer
is NO but we can do as much as we can to take control of it that is to minimise
the chance of recessions in the future or to also foresee it in the
future.Hence, the banks should be regulated properly to see any signs of
recessions.
