The three apparitions and prophecies given to Macbeth by the three witches are 1. “Beware Macduff;Beware the Thane of FifeThe first prophecy given by the witches means that Macbeth should beware of Macduff as he is a possible threat to Macbeth. 2. “None of women born shall harm Macbeth”The second prophecy is that any man woman born can not harm Macbeth as they do not have the ability to defeat Macbeth3. “Be lion-mettled, proud and take no care who cares, who frets until Great Birnam wood to high Dunsinane Hill/Shall come against him”The last prophecy given to Macbeth is that he has nothing to fear until Great Birnam wood moves to HIgh Dunsinane hill which is near his castleThe actual turning point is when Macbeth tells the killers to kill Banquo and Fleance. The killers are only able to kill Banquo and Fleance escapes. Before, whatever Macbeth had planned came true and there was no problems in his plan. But, after his plan of killing Banquo and Fleance fails as Fleance escapes this causes for Macbeth’s mental health to go downhill. In other words, this is where Macbeth’s turning point is in which everything is going downhill. After he hears the news that Felacne was not killed he becomes very paranoid and fearful which leads to him to see Banquo’s ghost. Thus causing for him to become crazy. Macbeth reacts to Macduff’s departure in a very negative way. Macbeth believes that Macduff is a threat for his throne and is his biggest competition. To defeat his competitions Macbeth demands that Macduff’s family be killed as well as for him to be killed as well. Macduff is very sad after hearing the news from Ross that his family has been killed . He begins to blame himself on the death of his family as he left them all alone and was not there to protect them. But his ready to seek revenge for the loss of his loved ones on Macbeth. Macduff makes a speech in which states that he needs Malcolm and his allies to take down Macbeth with a break out of action (war). Malcolm becomes very inspired and determined to take down Macbeth as he realizes that Macduff is a true ally and will support him. Macduff and Malcolm decided that Macduff should use his sadness and a source of anger and revenge against Macbeth. They then decide that they are going to prepare for war and take dowen Macbeth with the support of Edwards troops and Macduff.
