Task 2:1.0Introduction: Nowadays,technology is everywhere.It entwined in almost every part of our culture. It affects how we live, work, play, and most importantly learn. With mobile and other wireless devices becoming an increasing requirement across every industry today, it only makes sense that our schools are also effectively deploying mobile technology in the classroom.
Gadgets and smartphone play vital role in our daily lives. These include electronic games, home computers, handheld devices, and different type of gadgets. Gadgets are popular in children and as likely in elders.
However,the tremendous development in gadgets and smartphone technology has become an issue in our life especially for student. Children naturally replicate what they see. Hence, exposure to violence on television, movies, and recent video games increases the risk of violent behavior in teenagers. Also, with the increasing use of mobile phones, text messages, e-mails, and chat rooms, these little youths have created new means of social interaction in which aggression can occur abruptly and these innocent kids might get victim of their own mind.2.0Discussion of the issue: Based on the impact of smartphones on graphic organizer 1, it is cleared that the development of the smartphones has totally affected the environment of school nowadays. Student are the youngsters who easily get attracted by the technology of smartphone.
Nowadays , most of the student having their own smartphones. Some of them will silently bring their smartphone to school due to addiction to smartphones. This addiction is because of influence of media social such as whatsapp , facebook , TV programme and others.
Therefore ,student will rely everything with their smartphone in school. On the other hand, smartphones and gadgets brings harm to the health of student.The addiction of students with smartphones causing students spend a lot of time staring on their smartphones or gadgets. Staring too long with the screens of smartphones and gadgets will affect the eye-sight of students. Moreover, computer vision syndrome has become more serious as many people complain of headaches and posture-related problem like neck and back pain.3.
0 Critical ReviewIn my opinion , I think that the development of smartphone and gadgets has bring a lot of advantages more than diadvantages. Most of the issue or disadvantages is come from the addiction of student.Smartphone addiction is considered as the inability to control the smartphone use despite negative effects on users. The use of a smartphone not only produces pleasure and reduces feelings of pain and stress but also leads to failure to control the extent of use despite significant harmful consequences in financial, physical, psychological, and social aspects of life (Shaffer, 1996)Gadgets nowadays are a basic need for everyday lifestyle.It helps us a lot by doing things easier and faster.
Gadgets help students a lot by doing their projects more productive and progressive. (The Effects Of Gadgets In Students Performances Essay, 2016) Students need gadgets to search the information they want.Besides ,gadgets can become one of the way for student to relax by playing games, watching television program or listening to music.
