Mahindra & Mahindra brands its product in the name of “Mahindra”, it produces variiety of products as tractors,2 wheeled motorcycles, saloon cars, SUVs, pickups and commercial vehicles. It owns assembly plants in India, Mainland China (PRC), in the United Kingdom it has 3 assembly plants. The brand Mahindra also maintains business relations with various countries companies like France.Mahindra & Mahindra has a global recognition and its products are exported to various countries.

Mahindra began producing the Jeep CJ3 in 1954, and also some light commercial vehicles in the year 1965.In 1979 the company is licensed for assembly of Peugeot diesel four –cylindered engines and also began transmissions, and in 1982nit got to tie up with Kia Motors to build their four-speed KMT 90 transmission and also transfer case was announced.Mahindra Company produces a large range of vehicles, including MUVs, LCVs, and 3 wheelers. It also manufactures over 20 various models of cars it includes large vehicles, multi-utility vehicles like Bolero and Scorpio. It formerly had a joint venture with the ford called ford India private limited to build passengers cars. At the Delhi auto show in the year 2008, executives of Mahindra said that the company was doing an aggressive product expansion growth program which acts as a platform to produce more variety of vehicles over the next three years.

According to their word in January 2009 Mahindra & Mahindra launched its new product called Mahindra & Mahindra Xylo. Mahindra commenced its first overseas in the year 2008 which is called CKD operations with the launch of Scorpio under the brand of Mahindra in Egypt, in the partnership with the Bavarian auto group this was next followed by assembly facilities in Brazil.
