Language is developed in social context to address the need for
communication, it is a system of symbol and rules that enable us to communicate.
Languages also could be characterized into seven parts, such as arbitrary, vocal,
social, symbolic, systematic, non-instinctive-conventional, and productive and
creative. There are three main classification systems for defining languages:
Genetic Linguistics, Typological Linguistics and Areal Linguistics. Genetic
classification deals with sorting languages into family branches or same descent
and development basic history and Typological classification is done by
describing details of language structure; sound patterns, morphological and
semantic rules and distribution. While classifying languages based on their
regional location and reciprocal relationship among one language to others
although without considering whether the language has genetically relation or not.
