Is a liberalism being a good thing? Liberalism was a political principle that protecting and enhancing the freedom of the individual to be the central problem especially in politics. We can say that it was based on equality and liberty which is a moral philosophy and political. Liberals adopt a wide range of views which is laissez-faire in the open market and other, but generally we support liberal as the civil rights, democracy, gender, freedoms of speech and other. John Locke was known as father of Liberalism and he was a philosopher. He stated that “all mankind being all equal and independent, no one ought to harm another in his life, health, liberty or possessions”, which is in his essay, Second Treatise of Government.
As we know, importance of sovereignty according to Niccolo Machiavelli was we need to use an absolute sovereignty for a successful state-building because it will keep us maintain the power. As for John Locke’s statement in paragraph one, liberalism was a good thing as it keeps us freedom and equality in life. He also against an absolute sovereignty, because he fixed with his own principle which is liberal principle that government’s power over individual should be limited. In my opinion,
