Introduction Global warming means increasing heatof the world day by day. Actually, Global warming is the unusually rapidincrease in Earth’s average surface temperature over the past century primarilydue to the greenhouse gasses released as people burn fossil fuels. There aremany causes behind this problem. Uses of CFCs, carbondi-oxid, cutting downtrees, greenhouse effect and various kinds of pollutants are the main causesbehind this problem. This single problem creates a lot of other problem.
Iteffects on our personal, social and national life. Everyone should come tocheck this problem at any cost. Some causes of Global WarmingFirstly, Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs)are a group of compounds which contain the elements chlorine, fluorine andcarbon. CFCs are also a part of the group of chemicals known as the volatileorganic compounds (VOCs). Generally, CFCs are using some kinds of commercialand industrial purposes.
By using refrigeration equipment, most of the CFCscome from the atmosphere through the use of aerosols containing them and byleakages. Secondly, Carbon dioxide, or CO2, isa very common, naturally occurring molecule that contains two oxygen atoms andone carbon atom. CO2 is called a greenhouse gas (GHG) because as part ofEarth’s atmosphere CO2 traps the energy from the sun and keeps the world at alivable temperature. Natural and human both types ofsources are making carbon dioxide emissions. Decomposition, ocean release andrespiration are come from natural sources. On the other hand, humansources come from activities like cement production, deforestation as well asthe burning of fossil fuels like coal, oil and natural gas etc. Thirdly, cutting down trees ordeforestation is another main reason for global warming.
Deforestation is the permanentdestruction of forests in order to make the land available for other uses.Trees not only gives us oxygen but alsotakes CO2 from us. By cutting down more trees, we can not get oxygenfrom trees and it’s effects on any serious problem like global warming. Fourthly, The greenhouse effect is anatural process that warms the Earth’s surface. The main reason is when theSun’s energy reaches the Earth’s atmosphere, some of it is reflected back tospace and the rest is absorbed and re-radiated by greenhouse gases.Actually, water vapour, carbondioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, ozone and chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) areincluded with greenhouse gases. Besides theses, there are somereason for making global warming and theses are come from vehicles, industries,chemicals and other environment pollution etc, Some effects of Global WarmingAt present global warming is adangerous and harmful problem.
It is one of the greatest problem in all overthe world. In fact, it has become a problem of our daily life. This singleproblem creates a lot of other problem. Some effects are given bellow :First of all, Increasedprecipitation in the form of rain have already been noticed in polar andsub-polar regions. When global warming are increasing day byday, it will lead to more evaporation which will cause more rains. Animals andplants cannot easily adapt to increased rainfall. Plants may die and animalsmay migrate to other areas, which can cause entire ecosystem out of balance.
Second of all, the temperaturebecomes more warm, it can affect the health of humans and the diseases they areexposed to. When the rainfall is increaseing, water borne diseases are likelyto spread like malaria. And when the earth will become more warm or heat and asa result heat waves are likely to increase that can cause a major blow to thepeople.
Third of all, As the temperature ofthe oceans rises, hurricanes and other storms are likely to become stronger andalso the increase in the global warming, the water in the ocean warms up and itheats up the surrounding air, creating hurricanes.Fourth of all, The melting of polarice-caps and less water evaporating into the atmosphere are causing increasedsea levels. Quaint coastal towns and cities near the U.S. east coast and Gulfof Mexico are just a few areas where devastating flood damage is starting tomake its mark in history.Besides these there are somenegative aspects by global warming like melting of glaciers problem,agricultural problem, rise of sea levels, heat waves, longer/shorter seasons,health risks, animal extinction, economic collapse, human extinction etc.Some Solution Nowadays, global warming is adangerous problem for all over the world.
This problem is going out of controlday by day. So everyone should come to check this problem at any cost. There are some solution forcontroling global warming.By driving less you can save notonly fuel but also help to reduce global warming and also by using solarenergy, it can help to control global warming. Planting more trees than cuttingdown can help much in reducing global warming then any other method. They givesus oxygen and takes from us carbon dioxide, during the process ofphotosynthesis, which is the main source of global warming. Everyone shouldcontrol or tack the necessary steps against greenhouse effect and also controlabout fertilizer, waste products of mills and factories, vehicle horns andsmoke etc which are help to increase global warming and everybody should keepclean our environment like air, water, sound and land etc. Every Govt.
shouldtake the necessary steps against it. New laws should be passed if necessary.The public should be made conscious of it. Meetings and seminars may bearranged focusing on the bad effect of it. If we try honestly, this problemwill be disappeared from our world. ConclusionIn conclusion, global warming is themajor challenge for our global society. There is very little doubt that globalwarming will change our climate in the next century.
Day by day it is going outof control which are very alarming. Keeping this problem we can not imagine ourpeace and happy life. Everybody wants a good solution for this problem. Soeverybody should try to remove this problem with together First, there must bean international political solution. Second, funding for developing cheap andclean energy production must be increased, as all economic development is basedon increasing energy usage. We must not pin all our hopes on global politicsand clean energy technology, so we must prepare for the worst and adapt. Ifimplemented now, a lot of the costs and damage that could be caused by changingclimate can be mitigated.
