Boy George, Prince, white snake, kiss, and def leppard are just a few of the groups that paved the way for the acceptance of Androgyny. Finally, we come to boy George he was an interesting guy. With his flamboyant clothes and outrageous makeup and colorful hair he was the one who in my opinion started the cycle of acceptance by being all over the place with his music style. Most of his songs were happy upbeat and easy to sing with, and how can you not like this guy. He made you think he was just the guy next door and not the deviant who wears a girl’s clothes and wants to corrupt your child and turn him “gay. Assumptions – some of the assumptions about these boy bands who dressed as girls and wore make was that they were gay and that deep down they wanted to be females.How did glam rock with all its big hair and outlandish dressing bands influence the acceptance of Androgyny, by showing the world it is okay to be different and have fun doing it. Just, because you dress different does not make you a bad person or remodel.
