Goodmorning life and I am beyond honored

Goodmorning everybody, & Hey Sis!Have I ever called you that before? I think somewhere along the lines of calling you annoying and bossy I never remembered to call you “Sis,” but you are—and always have been—the best sister a girl could’ve grown up with. Sooo this speech obviously goes you my older & crazy sister Cathy! I want to start off by saying a few things and by thanking you. I’ve been staring at my paper trying to come up with the perfect words to tell you, the best advice I can give that you are supposed to give someone on their wedding day. But damn, You’re finally getting married! You are now starting a new chapter in your life and I am beyond honored that I am able to see you and be with you on this day and share this moment with you. After like 6 years you guys have been together. You guys really are “high school sweethearts”! He finally put a ring on it! Ready are you? You found your soulmate that you want to spend your life with.

I hope this new life with your soon to be husband will be okay with your ugly sneezing, snoring, always sleepy self. I mean you guys have been together for a long time so I’m sure he’s use to your psychoness or craziness or whichever word suits your chaotic self. I hope that you two travel together, go to each other’s favorite concerts together and go on wonderful and exciting adventures together. I hope you encourage each other to explore the world, I hope that your life together is not boring, not basic but humbling, relaxing and educational. & I hope you learn from experiences shared together.    Thank you for being you. Growing up, you did more for me unknowingly than you did knowingly.

There are so many things you just don’t think about having to worry about until you are in the thick of it. Just like how you’ll spend and save money, where you’ll spend your holidays, how you’re going to organize your closet, and how you’re going to raise your future loud, obnoxious, dirty little kids, maaaaan! I could already hear them! From little tiny things to really big things, a lot of discussions and decision-making happens within the few years.    One thing I have always prided myself on was that not only have I been blessed to be able to call you my sister, you’re also one of my best friends, you’re like another mom. You’ve been the one constant in my life, and on my a— I mean behind. You’re someone I could go to when I need help, advice or a laugh or anything else I may need. As we’ve gotten older, our relationship has only gotten stronger. Of course, we’ve had our ups and downs, but that is typical & relatable with all sisters, and it has never changed the way we feel about each other besides when we sometimes feel like killing each other.

Without a doubt, I’ll say that you are my role model. You have influenced my life in so many ways – maybe it’s too many to count. But as you go about your wedding, know that I will be here for you always and that this new part of your life doesn’t change anything. I may not know who I will be in 3 to 4 years or what degree I will have, but I know when I walk across that stage receiving my diploma I know for a fact that you’ll be the loudest to cheer. I’ve never told you this, but you’ve always been my rock.

So, laugh, love, and live, let the love last longer than life itself. Cheers, to the soon to be bride!
