the central vacuole mitochondria are found in almost all eukaryotic cells,
including those of plants and animals. Mitochondria are the organelles in
which cellular respiration takes place. During cellular respiration energy is
taken and harvested from sugars and transformed into an energy called ATP (adenosine
triphosphate). Cells use ATP as a direct energy source which again is obtained
from converting food energy. The mitochondria are membranous because is
enclosed in an envelope made of two membranes. Mitochondria contain their own
DNA that helps produce some of their own proteins made by their own ribosomes.

Another part of an animal cell that is very
important is the cytoskeleton. The
reason being is because without the cytoskeleton your cells would collapse in
on themselves, it also serves as like a muscle it helps the cell function in
movement and support. A function of the cytoskeleton is to give mechanical
support to the cell and maintain its shape. Another reason it is so important
is because an animal cell does not have ridged cell walls unlike a plant cell.
Centrioles every animal cell has them, they
are used to help the cell when it comes time to divide. They are put to work in both the process of
mitosis and the process of meiosis. Centrioles are usually found near the
nucleus but can only be seen when the cell is dividing, they are made up of microtubules.
These are not located in most plant cells they are membranous, they are made up
of nine groups of microtubules. Centrioles move to opposite sides of the cell
when it comes time for division. During that occurrence there are groups of
threads attached to the centrioles that can be seen, those threads are called mitotic
The reason these processes are so important
is because with out them there would be no living creature or plants. If there
where they wouldn’t be able to function correctly or obtain nutrients required
to sustain life. All of the cells are connected to one another, there cannot be
one part of the cell with out the other. All of the parts of a eukaryote cell
work together as a team to function.
