Assignment 6Student Name: P NtlemoStudent Number: 63175967Why?Because it is benefiting us indirectly, in such a way that it boosts economy of South Africa by bringing money from tourists.
Again we should save rhinos for future generation, even though they do not benefits us directly, we should reserve them so that we can ensure sustainability. What your original answer was and whyIt is option D Because if we keep on killing those rhinos, there will be a time when rhinos will be scares or finished and future generation will not be able to know those animals because there will no longer exist, as a result of our consequences we have done in the past. For instance dinosaur and anaconda are no longer available to all country; we hear great grandmothers and fathers that were once exist, we as the present generation we have never seen those animals and we do not believe that those animals were once exist because we do not have proof that those animal were once exist. The same will apply to future generation if we fail to save those rhinos. What your current answer is and whyIt is option EMy answer has been influence by intrinsic values, because I have realised that every animal has been given by God because of its value in and of itself. I think people should protect rhinos not because of what It can do for us, but because it is the right thing to do. If we look in the Bible there was a story of Noah where God instructed him to build arch and put every animal but God did not exclude snake even though it once turned against/sinned him, he realised that it is right to do. We should protect rhinos without considering its benefits or things that can help us and we should treat those animals like people because it has the right to live and it is created for other reason not to benefits as a human being.
Every animal in South Africa has the right to life like very human being in South Africa. We must not be obliged by the Supreme law of the Republic of South Africa to do so and People must keep in mind that those rhinos have the right to live like us. Rhinos can also be used as instrumental value, as I mentioned earlier on that they can be used to bring money in our country from tourists who come from outside other countries. Rhinos can also be used as instrumental value, as I mentioned earlier on that they can be used to bring money in our country from tourists who come from outside other countries and also the horn of the rhinos are used to do traditional medicine, that is way we see people keep on kill them and sell to other countries. My discussion of virtue ethics and answer the three key questions we posed in relation to this particular issue:Do I really practice the values I am describing?;Yes, I do practice values, since I am not self-centred and I care about incoming generationCan I really claim that these are my virtues?Yes, I do claim my virtue Is what I am saying really what I do?Yes,
