Another major problem is children’s addiction to the Internet that makes them easily get into trouble with some health problems. Computers and the Internet are wonderful because people could learn about social, economy, politic and so on by just sitting in front of the computers. Most parents freely allow children access to the Internet as an aid to do their homework and think they could discover wonderful lessons.
However, overusing computer might cause adversely effects on health. In Margie and Richard’ study (2000) have reported that the risk of obesity would be increased in children that have spent excessive hours in front of computer. Moreover, children also might be victims of poor eyesight, posture problems or they become less active, isolate themselves from the community. As a result, taking part in outdoor activities with their peers is no longer their number one priority and it is almost impossible for them to develop themselves in all aspects.
