Although different motivational theories with diverse ideologies were discussed, one common principle shared between these theories is that motivation can either be from intrinsic factors or extrinsic factors.
Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, Herzberg’s Two-Factor theory, and Vroom’s Expectancy theory were selected for this study because they exhibit a direct link with the research topic. The three theories agree that attitudes, growth and effort; does have a great influence on the way tasks are carried out and the expected outcome.
