According to Karl Marx, the class structure of the capitalist mode of production is characterized by the conflict between two classes: the higher people who own the means of production and the much larger working people who must sell their own labor power that is mean to inequality that is normalized. Marx also believed that the exploitation and poverty inherent in capitalism were a pre-existing form of class conflict. Marx believed that wage laborers would need to revolt to bring about a more equitable distribution of wealth and political power. According to the ASEAN Trade Union Council, the Philippines has the highest rate of economic and social inequality. This problem can affect by the disparity between the Philippines richest and poorest citizens and can conclude to exploitation of poor citizens.
